2026: My Year of Divine Glorification. John 17 vs 5

Who shall separate us from the Love of Christ?

Listen to Audio Version:

Picture every body of water in the world in one place, and you are trying to swim in it. That’s you in God’s love. God loves you more than you’d ever experience. Just as this is the truth, it’s also true that shege is common to all, and problems come to everyone in varying degrees.

Jesus taught His disciples to look beyond signs and wonders, to the realities of life. He explained the destruction ahead and how important it is for us to hold on to the knowledge of His love for us and ours for Him. “Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of many will grow cold, but he who endures to the end shall be saved(Matthew 24: 12-13)

The good news is, you as a Christian, see trials through a different lens. We go through storms knowing we are better as a result of them. Why? Because God loves us, and we’re inseparable from His love. The believer is built not to crack. This knowledge helps us understand why “longsuffering” is a fruit of the spirit. Gal: 2:22.

You are built not to crack.

Reverend Dr. Tunji Bamgbose, on Sunday, reminded us that God is intentional about our lives – it’s why He gifted us His spirit, equipping us for trying times. He knows shege might be inevitable, so He provided a manual for us to live by.

Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit as Comforter, Teacher, and Helper, knowing we would need Him to fill these needs in our lives. There is a need for God’s Spirit to strengthen us continuously. He alone can help us through the fire.

Apostle Paul, who was arrested and imprisoned at least three times, wrote that nothing can separate the believer from the love of Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Paul was writing from prison when he said “Rejoice! Again, I say rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). Child of God, shege or not, you gallant.

Knowing God is for you, you experience life from a place of victory. Come what may, you hold on to your faith forever. “Who is he that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the son of God” (1 John 5:5) This is evidence that He will never leave you stranded.

So cheer up, saint! Renew your hope in the Father who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think.

Don’t keep this to yourself, share it with 2 friends as their reminder for the week.
