There’s so much to be said about a mother. Most of all, the love that is manifested in different ways. Pastor Ayo Adebisi, while teaching about the courage of Abigail (1 Samuel 25:18-30), told the church of the various ways his mother is a role model to him and his wife a model to their children.
The Bible gave us wonderful women to glean wisdom from. Amongst them was Abigail, who was introduced in the middle of a crisis and rose above it all with wisdom, courage and grace. From her story, we get to see how mothers act with wisdom even in the middle of a crisis. We also see humility which brings reward and the secret intercession of a mother in the face of danger.
Mothers are models because they have virtues that bring fruitful returns. Mothers are wise, courageous, and humble. They stand as intercessors and peace givers. Mothers are a gift to the world whose tales of love can’t run short.

Látinú ìtàn rẹ̀, a rí bí àwọn ìyá ṣe ń hùwà pẹ̀lú ọgbọ́n, kódà láàárín ìṣòro. A tún rí ìrẹlẹ̀, èyí tí ń mú èrè wá, àti ẹ̀bẹ̀ àìmọ̀ ti ìyá kan ní ojú ewu.
Ìyá jẹ́ àwòrán àpẹẹrẹ nítorí pé wọ́n ní ìwà rere tí ń mú èso rere wá. Ìyá jẹ́ ọlọ́gbọ́n, akíkanjú, àti onírẹ̀lẹ̀. Wọ́n dúró gẹ́gẹ́ bí alárina àti olùpèsè àlàáfíà. Ìyá jẹ́ ẹ̀bùn sí ayé, tí ìtàn ìfẹ́ wọn kò lè tán.
Báwo ni ìyá rẹ ṣe jẹ́ àpẹẹrẹ rere fún ọ? Pín àpẹẹrẹ kan tó yàtọ̀ pẹ̀lú wa ní apá àlàyé.
