Imagine letting someone into your home, and suddenly all your troubles, worries and battles vanish. Life becomes soft and sweet. And next thing, the person promises you eternal life. Would you not permanently keep the person hostage without a second thought?
Exactly.
The good news is you don’t even need to imagine it. The situation already exists. Many are in it as you read this. In fact, He is right at your door waiting for you to lift the gates.
Who is He?
The Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. The Lord of hosts. The King of Glory. That’s who He is. (Psalm 24:7 & 9)
You may feel unworthy to let a Holy King into your home. And it’s valid, really, because what King would desire to walk into filth.
But you’re absolutely not filth. You are a city cleansed of guilt and shame, free from unholiness, and made clean, that you may not be afraid to lift up your gates for the King of Glory to come in.
And guess who gave you that privilege? Jesus! The same Holy King. The same King of Glory. What manner of man is this? The One who creates and conquers made you holy unto Himself and gave you eternal life.
All, so that you can lift up those hands in worship and faith, knowing that battles are won and victory is assured forever.
Let Him into your city!

Iwo ro wo bí o ṣe jẹ́ kí ẹnìkan wọlé sí inu ilé rẹ, tí gbogbo ìṣòro rẹ, àníyàn rẹ, àti ìjàkadì rẹ sì pòórá lẹ́sẹ̀kẹsẹ̀. Ìgbésí ayé di rírọ̀ àti dídùn. Ohun tí ó tẹ̀lé ni pé, ẹni náà ṣèlérí ìyè àìnípẹ̀kun fún ọ. Ǹjẹ́ ìwọ kì yóò há ẹni náà mọ́ ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ títí láé láìsí ìyèméjì?
Ori bee gan-an.
Ìhìn rere náà ni pé o kò tiẹ̀ nílò láti ro o wo. Ipò náà ti wà tẹ́lẹ̀. Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ènìyàn wà nínú rẹ̀ bí o ṣe ń kà èyí. Ní pato, Ó dúró sí ẹnu-ọ̀nà rẹ, ó ń dúró de ọ láti gbé àwọn ẹnu-bodè sókè.
Ta ni Òun?
Olúwati ni ipa ati agbara. Olúwa alágbára nínú ogun. Olúwa àwọn ọmọ ogun. Ọba Ògo. Eni ti o jee niyen (Sáàmù ori kerinlelogun, ese keje de keesan)
Ó lè jẹ́ pé ìwọ kò nímọ̀lára pé o yẹ láti jẹ́ kí Ọba Mímọ́ wọ inu ilé rẹ. Ó sì tọ̀nà, nítòótọ́, nítorí ọba wo ni yóò fẹ́ wọlé sínú ẹ̀gbin?
Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ kì í ṣe ẹgbin rárá. Ìwọ ni ìlú ńlá tí a ti sọ di mímọ́ kúrò nínú ẹ̀bi àti ìtìjú, tí a ti dá sílẹ̀ kúrò nínú àìmọ́, tí a sì sọ di mímọ́, kí o má bàa bẹ̀rù láti gbé àwọn ẹnu-bodè rẹ sókè fún Ọba Ògo láti wọlé.
Ta sì ni ó fún ọ ní àǹfààní yẹn? Jésù! Ọba Mímọ́ kan náà. Ọba Ògo kan náà. Iru eniyan wo ni eyi? Ẹni tí ó dá ẹ̀dá tí ó sì ṣẹ́gun ni ó sọ ọ́ di mímọ́ fún ara Rẹ̀ tí ó sì fún ọ ní ìyè àìnípẹ̀kun.
Gbogbo èyí kí o lè gbé ọwọ́ rẹ sókè nínú ìjọsìn àti ìgbàgbọ́ pé a ti ṣẹ́gun ogun àti pé ìṣẹ́gun dájú títí láé.
Alufa àwọn ọ̀dọ́ ní ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ sí i fún ọ. Ni ìrírí ọ̀rọ̀ Ọlọ́run níhìn-ín.
