A church is not a building. It’s the people and activities in the building that makes it a church.
It’s very true. But are we doing God’s intended mission to be called a church?
Pastor Henry Duro highlighted some reasons why the church exists:
We are the church. We exist to be witnesses of Jesus. The listed above will give you an insight into what you should do if you replace “church” with your name. The church is not a place, it’s you, it’s us, it’s all believers. And we’ve been sent to carry out missions.

Ile Ìjọ́sìn kì í ṣe ilé. Àwọn ènìyàn àti àwọn ìṣe tó wà nínú ilé náà ni ó ń jẹ́ kí a pè é ní ìjọsìn.
Òótọ́ ni èyí gan-an. Ṣùgbọ́n ṣé a ń ṣe iṣẹ́ tí Ọlọ́run pinnu fún wa, kí a lè jẹ́ ile-ìjọsìn gidi?

Awa ni ijo. A wà láti jẹ́ ẹlẹ́rìí Jésù. Àwọn ohun tí a ṣe àkójọ re lókè yìí yóò fún ọ ní ìmọ̀ràn nípa ohun tí o yẹ kí o ṣe bí o bá fi orúkọ rẹ rọ́pò “ìjọ.” Ìjọ kì í ṣe ibi kan; ìwọ ni ìjọ, àwa ni ìjọ, gbogbo àwọn onígbàgbọ́ ni ìjọ. A sì ti rán wa lọ láti ṣe iṣẹ́ ìránṣẹ́.
Bí o ṣe ń bá wa rìn nínú oṣù ìránṣẹ́ yìí, dáhùn àwọn ìbéèrè wọ̀nyí: Ṣé o ń mú ète tí Ọlọ́run dá ọ fún ṣẹ? Ṣé ìgbésí ayé rẹ ń jẹ́ ẹ̀rí? Nje o ń jere awon omo eniyan fun olorun pelu aye re?
Gbadùn ìwàásù náà níbí.
