Have you seen the movie Aladdin? If not, the movie Aladdin is about an orphaned boy that steals to survive, who would later go on to woo a princess with the help of a magical being, Genie. If yes, you can definitely agree that Aladdin would never have married Jasmine without the genie’s help. The genie was Aladdin’s only advantage in a world where all odds were against him. Now all of this is just fiction.
Here in the physical, the Holy Spirit is the believer’s only advantage. You see, the depth of your relationship with God is dependent on the Holy Spirit. Just like our Children’s day Pastor, Pastor Wisdom taught, “the Holy Spirit is the solid rock you build on. Building a relationship with God without the Holy Spirit is like building on sand.” No Holy Spirit = No relationship with God. The Holy Spirit being co-equal and co-eternal with the father, can equip us in every form of living righteously.
You can stop that sexual sin through the help of the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit, that addiction you are battling is already won. He can teach you how to speak and act in alignment with His fruits (Gal 5:22). He can transform your mind and character. Just like Aladdin, you have an advantage over your circumstances. You are not limited by things designed to hold you down. You lord over your flesh. (Gal 5:24)
It will interest you to know that there’s more to this Spirit.
He can help you pray! The will of God for your life is so important to Him, that He has given to you the ability to pray by His Spirit, thereby falling into alignment with Him. (Romans 8:26).
Just like you would not give your toddler a car to drive, God will not give to you what’s not meant for you. And just like Jesus taught the disciples how to pray, the Holy Spirit helps you to pray God’s will for you specifically.
These are still not all! There is a type of boldness that the Holy Spirit gives. Not even the best public speaker could teach it. By the Holy Spirit, you can witness Jesus to the ends of the earth. Your frightfulness can be as bad as Peter’s, but when the Holy Spirit overtakes your words, you will speak with so much confidence. (Luke 24:49).
I want you to be rest assured in the Holy Spirit. He alone is your advantage and can equip you in every area. Align with Him.

Ẹ̀mí Mímó dọ́gba pátápátá pẹ̀lú Baba, tí ó sì wà láéláé bí Baba (Olorun), lè mú wa lágbára kí a sì lè gbé ìgbésí ayé òdodo ní gbogbo ọ̀nà.
Ọlọ́run kò fẹ́ kí o máa tiraka pẹ̀lú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. Ó ní agbára láti fún ọ ní okun ju àwọn àìlera rẹ lọ. Ó lè kọ́ ọ bí o ṣe lè sọ̀rọ̀ àti bí o ṣe lè hùwà ní ìbámu pẹ̀lú àwọn èso Ẹ̀mí Rẹ̀ (Gálátíà Ori karun ese kejilelogun). Ó lè yí ọkàn àti ìwà rẹ padà. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí Aladdin, o ní ànfààní lórí àwọn ipò àti àyíká rẹ. Kò sí ohun tí a ṣe láti dì ọ mọ́lẹ̀ tí yóò lè fi ààlà sí ọ. Ìwọ ni olórí lórí ẹran ara rẹ. (Gálátíà Ori karun ese kerinlelogun)
Ó lè yà ọ́ lẹ́nu láti mọ̀ pé púpọ̀ síi ni ó wà nípa Ẹ̀mí yìí. Ó lè ràn ọ́ lọ́wọ́ láti gbàdúrà! Ìfẹ́ Ọlọ́run fún ìgbésí ayé rẹ ṣe pàtàkì gan-an sí I débi pé Ó ti fún ọ ní agbára láti gbàdúrà nípasẹ̀ Ẹ̀mí Rẹ̀, kí o lè wà ní ìbámu pẹ̀lú Rẹ̀. (Róòmù ori kejo ese keindinlogbon 8:26)
Ọlọ́run nífẹ̀ẹ́ rẹ gan-an débi pé Ó ti ṣe ètò àti ìpinnu kan fún ìgbésí ayé rẹ, èyí tí ó dára ju ohun tí o lè ronú tàbí fojú inú wò lọ. Kò ní jẹ́ kí o pa ara rẹ lára nípa fífi ara tẹ̀lé àwọn ìfẹ́ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. Ìdí nìyẹn tí Ó fi mọ̀ọ́mọ̀ jẹ́ kí o máa gbàdúrà nípasẹ̀ Ẹ̀mí Rẹ̀, kí o má bàa gbàdúrà ní àṣìṣe tàbí lòdì sí ìfẹ́ Rẹ̀. Àǹfààní ńlá wo nìyẹn!
Nígbà tí ìgbésí ayé bá dà bí ẹni pé o wà nìkan, tàbí tí o kò mọ bí o ṣe lè yanju ipò kan, má ṣe gbàgbé Ọ̀rẹ́ pàtàkì rẹ, Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́. Òun nìkan ni okun ìyè rẹ, ó sì lè pèsè gbogbo ohun tí o nílò ní gbogbo apá ìgbésí ayé rẹ. Wà ní ìbámu pẹ̀lú Rẹ̀.
